easy apron

so today is my first day of ceramics class and the course requires an apron...sounds like it's time to test out my new sewing machine!!! gals, let me tell you, i love it! since this apron will soon be covered in red clay, i kept in simple, but wanted to share because it took me less than an hour and it will definitely do the trick. this one was crafted out of some scrap fabric i bought at a thrift store and a ribbon that was used to package a blanket i bought from target.

  1. Are the stars freehand or from your sewing machine? What kind of sewing machine did you get?

  2. the stars are one of the many stitches available on the Brother CS6000i...it's awesome and ridiculously user friendly (you literally drop in the bobbin).
